Mounts are not any trivial matter in World of Warcraft Classic. during a game where it is often a challenge to hold onto a couple of silver, even basic level 40 mounts cost 80 gold. BASIC RACIAL MOUNTS

Dwarves: You get rams, purchased from Veron Amberstill at Amsterstill Ranch in Dun Morogh, not too far away from Kharanos. Eltham Ironhorn within the same area teaches you Ram Riding.

Undead: You get undead horses, purchased from Zachariah Post in Brill, near the Ruins of Lordaeron. Velma Warnam in Brill will teach you Undead Horsemanship.

Trolls: You get raptors, purchased from Zjolnir in Sen'jin Village, near the troll starting area in Durotar. Xar'Ti therein village will teach you Raptor Riding.

Gnomes: You get mechanostriders, which appear as if mechanical ostriches, sold by Milli Featherwhistle in Kharanos, Dun Morogh. Benjy Featherwhistle teaches you Mechanostrider Piloting.

Tauren: You get kudos, giant rhino-like lizards, sold Harb Clawhoof in Bloodhoof Village south of Thunder Bluff in Mulgore. Kar Stormsinger in town will teach you, Kodo Riding.
