In early August, however, Jackson would suffer a hamstring injury which limited his time in the preseason to only seven carries in the fourth game. This type of run is exactly what people were expecting when Jackson was drafted. With one spot still available on the practice squad and the potential that Jackson possesses, the hope appears to be that he makes it through waivers to rejoin the team in that capacity.
